What’s Included?

  • From the time you sign your contract, I’m your doula! I’m available for text and phone calls any time. I’m excited to stay connected through your pregnancy and hear updates! In early labor, I’m your go-to person, staying up to date until you need my extra support.

  • Birth is unpredictable, and sometimes it takes a lot of time and energy to bring a baby into the world! I place no restrictions or extra fees on my time with you at your birth. I go on call for you at 37 weeks gestation, and I will join you whenever you decide you need my help. If your baby is born before 37 weeks, I won’t let you birth alone! I will be there as quickly as I can, and if I’m not available, I will send a back up!

  • Starting with your 5-week Childbirth Education course, you have access to the core classes offered by Little Blooming Warriors.

    These include:

    5-Week Childbirth Education

Nourish & Nurture: Newborn Care and Breastfeeding

    The Complete 4th Trimester Workshop

Balanced Babes: Optimal Fetal Positioning Workshop

    1st, 2nd, and 3rd Trimester Workshops

If you are interested in adding our catalog of additional workshops, you can add total class access for $295. Our additional workshops include:

    The Ultimate VBAC Workshop

    Nutrition Through the Childbearing Years

Preparing Your Pelvic Floor for Birth and Beyond

    Infant Sleep Workshop

Hypnobabes: Relaxation and Hypnosis for Childbirth

Our childbirth education and Nourish & Nurture: Newborn Care and Breastfeeding classes satisfy all the education requirements for Beginnings Birth Center clients.

  • With two intentional, personal visits in your home, I get to know you as a family, discuss your priorities, hopes, concerns, and dreams for this birth experience. We will talk about birth plans, what you can expect from my doula care, and what you can expect from care at your birth place.

  • I remain with you for 2-3 hours after birth, making sure you, your partner, and baby are all settled in. We will do some quick birth debriefing, ooh and ahh over your new baby, and I will help get baby introduced to the breast before I head home.

  • Birth can be such a whirlwind, and I love to bring a meal and sit down to help you and your partner tell your birth story. We will schedule this visit at your convenience, usually 1-2 weeks postpartum.

From Madeline’s Clients

“Madeline was there from the moment we started meeting with her through to the endless hours of labor and even to the weeks after my daughter was born. She was everything I needed when I was in labor — a hand to hold, a voice reminding me I could keep going, and a wealth of knowledge suggesting things to keep labor going and to keep me as comfortable as possible. We had built such a great relationship throughout my pregnancy that by the time labor came, she was the friend I needed to face all the unknowns of birth. She also made my husband feel comfortable and helped him know how to help me. We both walked away from the birth saying nobody should go through it without a doula. So take my word for it — find yourself a doula, and Madeline is the best one. We couldn’t have done it without her.”

— Kaylee

“Madeline has been our doula for two births. She truly helped us navigate challenging decisions during pregnancy and birth. She is peaceful, encouraging, and so thoughtful! I’m so glad she was with us!”

— Aaron and Jen

“Madeline was probably by far the best decision my wife and I made when it came to the hundreds of decisions one has to make when they find out they’re expecting. From the very beginning to the very end, she made sure that I (the husband) was involved with everything surrounding the birth process. Having Madeline with us through the labor and delivery of our little girl was so amazing. Being able to tag team things with her through the 12+ hours of labor was such a wonderful and needed thing. Madeline helped both my wife and myself feel safe through the entire experience. We are already planning on using her for our next kid, whenever that may be.
